QSA is an organization for K-State students and the Manhattan community that serves as a place for GLBTIQ folks and their allies to meet each other and to serve as a support network, politcally and emotionally, for the queer community.

There are a number of ways you can help QSA achieve its mission of creating a safe, welcoming environment for all K-State students and providing a social network for queers and allies on campus. The list below, of course, is not all-inclusive, and the amounts are just suggestions -- anything you can give would be very appreciated. Feel free to email qsa@ksu.edu or get in touch with the K-State Foundation for any questions you may have about how you can help QSA financially or through a contribution of time.

• SCHOLARSHIPS for queer/ally students, $2,000/semester
• ORGANIZATIONAL T-SHIRTS, $400/yr.
• DISPLAY CASE for informational tables at freshman orientation, open house, and periodically in the Union, $1,500
• ICEBREAKERS: supplies and publicity for an outreach program for questioning folks, $1,000/yr.
• COMING OUT DAY CONFERENCE: supplies, publicity, and materials for an annual conference, $5,000/yr.
• GENERAL PUBLICITY FUNDS to inform campus about meeting times and events, any amount
• SAFE ZONE materials, $200
• LEADERSHIP CHALLENGE SCHOLARSHIPS: funds for QSA students to attend an annual K-State leadership conference, $200
• KEYNOTE SPEAKER HONORARIUMS: funds to invite speakers to the K-State campus, any amount
• GRADUATE STUDENT QUEER AFFAIRS COODRINATOR POSITION: funds to support a part-time graduate student through the Office of Student Life or another campus office to act as a resource person for the queer community and queer affairs on campus, $15,000/yr
• QUEER AFFAIRS COORDINATOR POSITION: funds to support a full-time master's degree holder through the Office of Student Life or another campus office to act as a resource person for the queer community and queer affairs on campus, $20,000/yr
• MISCELLANEOUS FUNDS, any amount
• DONATIONS OF TIME AND TALENTS for QSA events
